The Game
of Life shows that simple rules can lead to complex behavior. If you set a pattern of cells, can you guess how they will
act when you click on the "Next Generation" button? Can you guess how they will act after ten clicks? Are you surprised at how simple rules can be hard to
predict?

Rules for the game of life:
- A cell dies of loneliness if it has fewer than
two neighbors
- A cell dies of overcrowding if it has more than
three neighbors
- A new cell is born in any spot that has exactly
three neighbors
- Count neighbors as any cells above, below,
left, right, or diagonal from a space.
